Acme venue at Zurich

Anyone go? How was the grub? The scenery? I'm jealous

I went a few years back. They gave a bracelet with a tab for each food item and some drinks.
It's just some oysters and your standard ACME meh food.
My bartender was playing the game well so twice she pretend that she couldn't pull the tab off and gave me the drink with a wink. She got tipped very well.
The scenery is nice as it's a great venue to watch golf.
Don't be jealous of this shite though. The tents around the 18th green is where the real good stuff happens.

I went today. Food was average. Shrimp were popcorn size, not de-veined. Lacked flavor.
Catfish were okay, but better than the shrimp.
My friend said the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was good - I opted by mistake for a Caesar Salad.
Water was free. Drank several beers. All in all, a good time - I wasn't there for the food.

I was in a suite on 18th and the food was meh.

I left a dozen suite tickets on my desk yesterday for the weekends that I couldn't give away. I had six customers going with me tomorrow and everyone canceled due to the weather. I couldn't go Friday or Saturday due to other scheduling conflicts. Glad to hear today was a good time.

the food was better than I thought it would be
the beer was cold
the tent had AC
all of that was free
and looking down on 18 with the golfers coming to you is the only way to go

Always a good amount of tail about there. Five or six years ago when they started making it more of a party/social scene, the sundresses and women starting showing up in force.

I have only been in Champions and the food is very good. Beer selection sucks but that is to be expected.

Oysters Thursday were crispy and overcooked. Never been too crazy about Acme food but it wasn't a hamburger
