I loved Hop Delusion when it first came out... but yeah that was before the hazy IPA trend blew up in LA.

I don't know why, if an IPA was delicious before the haze craze, why it wouldn't be viewed as delicious now.

Hop Delusion used to be my favorite TX DIPA, until Brash kicked in the door with P Wagon. Then B-52 and Whole Foods got going, and now while I still think Hop D is a good beer when fresh, others have stepped up the game, both haze and non-haze varieties of hops.

Non haze ipas are still get it's just that we have been spoiled by the haze and it's hard to compare. I still love a nice and crisp regular ipa at times.

Because my consciousness has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before.

Great. Another brewery that I'll never buy taking up local space.

Just what we need

How times have changed.

3 years ago this board bitched about the lack of options from out of state. Now it's frick everyone we have local beer.

This is news I would have been excited about as recently as 18 months ago, but as others have said, local breweries have stepped up their game to the point where I don't see myself buying any Karbach.

Albeit not local, but you could always get Stone and SN IPAs in Louisiana. Freshness was an issue for SN as their date system blows arse.

if Karbach dropped into our market 18 months ago, prior to the ABInbev sellout, I'd have kept it in the rotation.
