Has anyone seen a gumbo cooked in one of those sugar cane pots or are they just yard ornaments?

They did a big arse gumbo at the Bama game a few years back.

Reading that Bama did it after watching that video about Louisiana made me a little ticked off and nauseous.

Seen a jambalaya cooked in one a couple times.
Seemed like I remember them saying it served 1000 people.
ETA, they are sugar kettles and that is what they were used for.
