And sweet mother what a bourbon. Just when I had convinced myself that price doesn’t always reflect quality, he drops that on me. Unreal taste and smoothness. No ice allowed.

Save your rubles and get a bottle. It was a bit of a surreal experience. It was one of those dinners that your wife makes you go to after she meets some woman at the gym and they become BFF’s

No thanks. That’s one of those things where I’d rather just make friends with someone who has a bottle and is willing to share. If I bought a bottle I would never open it because I’d never want to lose a drop.

My friend’s father has 5 bottles of unopened Pappy, all different years. He didn’t offer to pop a bottle the last time I was over.

I’ll prolly catch hate for this, but it’s actially recommended to put a cube or so of ice, or a splash of water in Pappy. We went to a food fest at blackberry farm one year and the van winkle fam was there. This was how it was served.
When asked about it they said the water opens it up so you can get the full flavor.
