Gino's is a nice Italian restaurant off of College. You can always do Louisiana Lagniappe, you got Sullivan's or Ruffino's. Of course there is always Ruth Chris.
If you want something more casual, you really can't ever go wrong with Chimes. Maybe go to Capital City grill or if you want to go trendy take her to Tsunami's.

If you want to take her somewhere a little further away, go to Pat's in Henderson (right right outside of Lafayette and probably about a 40 min drive). It is kind of a tourist spot, but it is always a good time to make the drive that way. You can eat outside right above the water.
