Is water near the homes yet on the unprotected side of the levee?

This was posted 10 hours ago,

I measured the rate of water rise here in Little River. Over 6 hours the rise was one and one half inches . Water now is of course flowing freely over the rock dam into Spring Bayou. The water entering Little River and spring Bayou is clear.

From what I heard yesterday it is getting closer. Water jumped the road by Eddie Knights gate Sunday afternoon. You can put a boat in right after the end of his fence and travel all the way to Grassy, Red River Bay, Grand Lake etc.
ETA: The Bayou De' Sout(sp) bridge floated up. I have a ton of pics if anyone is interested.

You better properly cite the author of some of those pics.

Grand Lake is where most of them are from. Not sure about the bridge.

Try as I might, I cannot find Grand Lake. That's not the same Grand Lac of Spring Bayou, right?

Negative, this is Grand Lake hunting club. It is right off the Red River south of where the Black empties in. I will try to do a google map with it pinpointed, but I can't make any promises.

No problem-that's close enough for me.
