As opposed to forcing a big dramatic angle about a rapper visiting the white house?

As opposed to being informative and giving the facts and video of it happening. There doesn't need to be talk of post traumatic stress disorder, or people losing their mind not being able to take much more, etc. The Morganza Spillway is doing what it was built for. They're making it out to be like Katrina Part II.

Little dramatic but pretty good job with the aerial photos and schematics to show things will work. Good job by CNN

Saw the aerial shot of the batture by Algiers Point. I've seen that area flooded--heavy rain always does that--but it was basically part of the river this time.

CNN is much more objective than Fox News. And when it comes to international or major domestic issues, they are much better.

I guess that depends on if you watch TV predominantly out of your left eye or your right eye. LOL! I'll leave it alone because this isn't the Poli Board.

Sheek, that's funny about Geraldo! I can actually picture him doing that.

Also, I heard the black chick on CNN pronounce Nat chezzzz like it was a city in Mexico!

I never watch CNN, but the picture from Fox was bad.

I would not go that far. I have to admit though... they kick Fox News' arse when it comes to disaster coverage.

It was a zoo out there with all the new crews tripping over each other yesterday along with about 100 State troopers and there cars.

It was like a circlejerk going bad with all the dumb asses trying to get set up but there was only X amount of room. Then there was one TV crew set up on the train tracks. Well guess what? Came 5:30pm, they had open the tracks up along with La 1. Of course there was a train waiting to cross the spillway and had to wait on the dumb asses that had set up on the tracks.

Damn, did the tornados do that much damage to have Baton Rouge annexed to Alabama?

In regards to the coverage, CBS news headlined it "Massive Intentional Flooding in Louisiana Begins." It makes it sound as if we're enjoying this.

CNN coverage has been very good although HLN, formerly CNN Headline News, has barely had a blurb on it. Go figure.
