And to think my brother in law told me to come to his house if we had problems down here. I think I will stay put.....

The majority of Baton Rouge would be spared, with the exception of LSU and every development constructed since 1995.
(South BR LSU-->Siegen)

Also New Orleans would be gone, 50x worse than Katrina. Kenner and Metaire underwater.

Its a good thing I trust the levees won't fail and Morganza will be open within 24 hours.

The water is rising slowly. When I passed yesterday the water was kissing the bottom of the dock at Cannon's launch and the water on lower Savanne was a few inches higher. I saw on Houma Today that they closed the flood gates on minor's canal and two others north of there I am not familiar with. Water is slightly higher than normal pretty much everywhere in Houma. I expect it to start rising a good bit faster a few days after Morganza starts flowing.

Highland Road area really stands out in that model.

I live right off Highland road and always thought I was safe because of Highland being the natural levee for the Miss. I guess I was wrong according to that map...

Glad I bought flood Insurance even though I am not in a flood zone.

everything south of I 12 will be flooded or destroyed, if we don't open morganza baton rouge will be devastated, plain and simple

only North Baton Rouge will be spared.

if they don't open morganza this could be the worst natural disaster in the history of this state maybe this country.

West and south of Highland would be a hell of a lot worse than east and north (the whole south side of the city would be ruined obviously)

LP is safe from flooding bc of the Amite I guess

What is the percentage that this actually happens? .000004%?
