Fleming did not say that they would open any others. 1 bay is not much.

In response to question, Fleming says they will open only 1 bay today. Slow opening for a lot of reasons. Don't want to scour. Want the bear and wildlife to be able to get to higher ground. Want to give time to people to get out of the way.

Fleming says that they are predicting 1.626 at Red River. So they are going to open it enough to take 125 kcfs off river. They will open one or two bays tomorrow, then continue to open as they need to. They expect to be at "max capacity" by the 22nd. The could mean that they will open Morganza up fully by then, but that is not clear.

At max prediction, he says they will only pull 125 kcfs off at Morganza. (That is 12 or 13 bays).
Morgan City will see only twelve feet, and wall is 22 feet. Flowing Morganza this way means seawall is ok.

WAFB reporting barges having come loose and out of control on the river in BR. Rumored reports that 1 or 2 barges have hit the old 190 bridge and that bridge is now closed for precaution.
