Need Help with a Sugar Kettle Logo

Hey guys. I was hoping for some help with creating a logo to help revamp my uncle’s sugar kettle business. I had an idea for the logo but am open to suggestions. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

My idea was something like this, but with a transparent background:


But the garden spade would be replaced with a sugar kettle like this one, but preferably all black:

I’m open to the leafy things on the side, but was thinking it would be more fitting with sugar cane on either side or behind it.
