Need help with a logo

I guess we'll see who the professional farkers here.....
If some of you guys feel helpful, I need help changing a logo. The colors all the same......Instead of the basketball lines, I need the strings of a baseball. Incorporate a ball there.
The next thing I need instead of Utah Flash, can anyone change those words to Cajun Connexion (i didn't name the team and yes it needs to be an X). I left it big enough for you guys to work with them. Any help would be much much appreciated.

Looks more like an Illustrator project than Photoshop . Re-drawing with the pen tool... Hardest part will be stylizing the look of the new ball to fit the rest of the image... If you don't need precise vector art, it can be cannibalized from an existing image fairly easily.

Red background for sure? It's important to know because the shirt itself would affect the way the design is made for a 2-color, 3-color, etc... process when printed.
Red = Negative space whereas White would have to be drawn...

yeah. I looked for this same logo with a red background but couldn't find anything. There was a white one, but I don't think it was big enough for you farkers to work with.

Right on That source pic will work just fine - It's pretty easy to change colors on things.
