LSU Football Team badge challenge

I think an European style logo/badge design would be pretty cool.
These guys are doing different kinds for NFL teams

I think they're pretty sharp, I like the old simple style. I have a few ideas for an LSU one, but have no idea how to do it.
Mine would have some type of chevron/crest with an subtle fleur de lis, a couple simple strips, a tiger of some sort (either on it's hind legs or a tigerhead(s)), 1860, maybe a football in there somewhere & so on...
Anyway yall want to create some different ones?
Should be fun, oh and I guess if you're not an LSU fan, then just do one for your favorite team.

haha i know what you mean. I had some kick arse ideas and then i opened illustrator for the first time and it was about as frustrating as contacting AT&T

I have one in the works. My only issue is that I hand drew it, then scanned it to my computer. I'm using gimp, so its a little difficult to trace my design with just a mouse.
