Actually no. I was going to do it before the game but I decided to make a beer run. Just quick to the point tonight.

Gloating pointers:

So let's see..

1. LSU was the first university to win two BCS national championships under different coaches.

2. Florida was the first university to win two BCS national championships under the same coach.

3. The SEC has won the national championship three years in a row.

4. OU and Ohio State have nothing to show.

Now let's do like the networks and blow the comparisons completley out of control.

5. LSU was the first university to win two national championships in the same city.

6. All of LSU's and Florida's national championships were won at night.

What other pointers have I overlooked?

Hmmmm... How about--

7. LSU won 2 BCS Championships in their own home state and FLA won at least one BCS Championship in their home state.

8. SEC has won 45% of all BCS Champs. Big 12 = 18%; PAC 10, Big 10, Big East, & ACC = 9% each

9. SEC is the only conference that is undefeated in BCS Champs.

LSU beat Oklahoma for their first National Championship and Ohio State for their second.

Flordia on the other hand beat Ohio State for their first national championship and then Oklahoma for their second.

LSU won their second championship with an outgoing defensive coordinator while Florida won theirs with an outgoing Offensive coordinator. Lee Corso said that both schools made a bad decision to allow an outgoing coach stay on for the title game.

LSU is the only team ever to play in a BCS Championship game, whose school's colors don't have some form of red or orange in it.

After further research, it has been confirmed true.

These are the teams that have played in the BCS Championship Game since it's inception in 1998--

LSU
Florida
Tennessee
Texas
Miami (FL)
USC
Florida State
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Nebraska
Virginia Tech

If you look at the letters in the last two teams that lost the championship games, OKLAHOMA and OHIO STATE, you can spell the following words...

HOKIE, LAME, HOSE, TEAMS, EAT, SH*T

I believe this is a mystical message!

No - It's afterwards, as in:

OKLAHOMA*
OHIO STATE*

* Failed to win
