I made this a while back, I just wanted to share it and see what you guys thought. I'm not sure how to host it so it comes up right on the post, but I put it on image shack

Outstanding work
Some people miss out on quality pieces cuz they're scared of links - so I put your image here (hope that's ok with you).
EDIT: By the way - if you made this with Photoshop - you should embed some information (screen name, initials, date completed, title, etc...) The only reason I bring it up is because you mentioned "how to host it" or whatnot...Work this good should have a "history" of being yours upon initial internet upload...

I did do it with Photoshop, and I have some nub questions.
1. How did you host it so it shows?
and
2. How should I embed something on it? Just throw my initials as some text on there? or some type of water mark?

I can answer this one for you.
On your ImageShack link, click and copy the Direct link, then paste it in a Message box, highlight the link address, then click img box to the right of the Message box, then click Preview button down below to see how it looks, and if looks OK click Submit

In Photoshop, once I have merged my layers and saved it as gif, jpg or whatever - Under the "File" dropdown there is a "File Info" button.
I usually only fill out the basic stuff - image name, my screen name and initials, keywords (this helps it get noticed on google image search, etc...), but most importantly fill out the "creation date" so when it is uploaded for the very first time - a timeline is established. Even if it's not copyrighted - the "not specified" license option would require somebody to contact you and ask you if it's copyrighted (sp?) before they can "legally" use it for their own puposes....
Most of the stuff I post on here is for fun and I don't care where it ends up or if I get credit for it. If I care enough to put my (screen)name on the front of it - I usually add the file info.
If you have Firefox go to the Charles Scott Juggernaut image I did with the Auburn wall. Right-click on it and save it with .txt extension instead of .jpg and also change the filetype from JPEG to all files. Then open it in notepad. All the file info is embedded in the code.
Hope this helps.

so how did you make that picture? what kind of effects or filters did you use?
Posted on 9/17/08 at 4:59 pm to aaronb023
Um it was a bunch of photos I found on google images, and I did a lot a manipulation with color balancing, blending, only think I used 1 filter Cut out I think. It's been a few months though. Um when I'm finished my design werk I'll go back and look at the file for you. I know I used find edges and played with the contrast of all the images all day.
The Les Miles picture took the longest to work with.
I love that my picture got farked

Yeah, well. I woke up one morning and saw a thread entitled "Hey yurintroubl - Look familiar?" on the Fark Board. Another poster had found a guy trying to sell a framed print of one of my farks on Ebay....

Long story short - he ended up yanking it after (most likely) lurking the 3-page thread where we were tracking his arse down. I'm not trying to make money off any of this, and nobody else should be profiting off of my occasionally hard work.
