Every year the hunters are given tags depending on the amount of property they hunt on, every tag goes to a gator. The bigger the gator, the more you get per pound, so you have to choose the ones you want to keep wisely. If you catch a smaller one, you should let it go in hopes of getting a bigger one, if medium, well you have to weigh your options, you may get a bigger one, you may not, before the season is up. Just a lil bit of info!
