Any chance that arrow is a few week old wound that is healing?

I don't know how it wouldn't get caught on something and pull out of the deer during the few weeks time, that wound looks healed and the arrow look like it has old blood stains on it.

And for the angle, I think it's bouncing around freely as the deer runs. Probably hangs downward when she's idle.

Looks legit to me. You can always do a hot-spot comparison which usually works to see which areas *may* have been tampered with.

I performed a google reverse image search on this image. This is obviously getting re-posted everywhere.

I will say-- the "Visually Similiar" section of the Google Reverse Image Search does NOT produce results anywhere similar to this picture.

Here's another view of the pic.



That deer has some freakishly long legs... Notice how the color is different on both front legs. I think the closest deer was added, while the furthest deer may be real...
