You ever bench a remaining player when you’re up?

I’m up by less than one point with Devin Singletary left. Opponent is done. Singletary could conceivably fumble twice and lose touches, and I’d lose. Sure, I want all the points, but would I better off just benching him and taking my W?

I will if within 8 points with a defense.

Positional players are almost never significantly negative whereas defenses routinely post -5 or worse depending on league scoring rules.

You don't want to take the chance that a stat correction can make you lose. Plus, you want all the points you can get for tiebreakers when playoff time comes.
