We have shallow benches in our 10-team standard league and I’m thinking Jones could be a stud when he comes back this week.

My bench is Amari Cooper, Corey Davis, Chris Carson, Quincy Enunwa and Kenny Golloday. Are there any of those you’d consider dropping for Jones? Who would you drop for him? What is his outlook Iooking like to you all?

Don’t cut Corey Davis. He’s getting 34% of Tennesse’s Targets.

ON any other team, yes. I owned a pair of TENN players last season, and they both took significant portions of the teams offensive opportunities. They didnt do shite all year.

Nobody on Tennessee had anything close to a 34% target share last season. That number is 4th highest in the league at this point. It will come down some, but I still expect Davis to finish in the top 15-20 in targets in the league

Who are your starters? Just list your entire roster.

Hmm, I like all those WRs too much to drop. Maybe Carson, just because that offense isn't going to be in good running situations, their O-line sucks, and Penny might pass him up eventually.

How do ya'll feel about Aaron Jones? Jamaal Williams hasn't really run away with the job these first 2 weeks. I think the door is wide open for whoever gets the hot hand

Drop enunwa

his value will lie in PPR leagues and you will never play him in a 10 team standard

If Jones can show that he can handle pass blocking it is his job. With that said, I think there is a small chance he shows he can do that

That's not my point. My point is that the top 2 offensive players didnt do shite because the team sucks. Davis could be getting 75% of the targets, but if they suck, and he cant even catch them, then it's meaningless... unless you get a Point Per Target.

You are making little sense here. You havent won a league in 5 years for a reason bubba

It means a lot that a guy like Davis is 4th in target share thus far. If a freak like that continues to see volume he will make something of it. Mariota didnt even play yesterday, Walker's targets are vacated.. there is still stuff to sort through in TEN. It's week 2

I understood your point, I just don't think it's a good one. You're letting a bad experience from last year make you ignore that a major variable has changed.

Mediocre volume on a bad offense is bad for fantasy. Huge volume on even a bad offense is worthy of being rostered.

You would drop Enunwa over Golloday? Enunwa sees a ton of volume

Well they have the same amount of receptions, but Gollday is 10th in yards for WRs. He's getting targeted downfield and in the EZ on a team that will pass a ton. He is potential league winner, Enunwa is a low end flex type in 12+ team leagues
