This is the first time in a while I can remember RBs being so weak after CM, Ekeler, and Barkley. I’m assuming the WRs will fly off the board. What is your strategy if you have a top 3 pick?

I’m not a fan of Barkley. Chubb is my next rb after Ekeler. If I have top 3 pick then I’m picking who is available out of JJ, Chase, and CMC. In that order

I’ve got pollard ahead of Chubb but they’re def my 1-4. I think there’s some serious rb value in round 4-6. Wr falls off a cliff after round 3 imo.

zigg when they zag.

personally i think barkley is RB3 this year. he catches the ball and runs just as well as Chubb and will be on a better offense. I trust Daboll to run an offense more than Stefanski.

If you have a top 3 pick and 1 and 2 are JJ/CMC you can go Chase/Ekeler neither is the wrong pick. If you go JJ i'm going Rb round 2 then pounding WR after. If you go Ekeler you could double up with a Pollard/Stevenson and then pound WR after.

How in any way is the giants offense better than the browns? Barkley faded hard mid way through the season. Was rb19 in weeks 11 - 18. Teams keyed in on him and they started having Daniel Jones pull the ball more. He vultured quite a few tds. I expect more of the same this year.

I would ask you the same about Daniel Jones. At least we know watson is capable.

Same. I feel a lot better about just trying to get one running back out there weekly amongst the middle round guys and loading up on consistent WR depth early.

he doesn't catch passes. they can say he will catch more this year all they want but we have 0 evidence in his entire career he will be more involved in the passing game. Barkley had 76 targets last year. 76 targets/295 rush attempts are more valuable than 37 targets/302 rush attempts.

I’ll draft how the board dictates but wouldn’t be upset this year if it dictated I’m taking my first back in the 5th round. I think there’s a ton of value in mid round backs with how ADP is currently shaping up.

Yet Chubb still outscored Barkley in standard and Half-PPR. Barkley barely nudged him out in Full PPR by a measly 2.6 points. Even if Chubb doesn’t catch passes you have to expect some kind of uptick with Hunt gone whether in catches or touches. Plus he has a top 3 oline

I actually think the rb position is deeper than years past and ok drafting some 5-6 rd RBs I want in years past.

Unfortunately I think Bijan Robinson is going to have a great year.

I feel like there isn’t as much elite guys but more good options scattered throughout the draft. That big 2017 rb draft class is aging and there is starting to be more concern on when they will drop off. Some already showing it. You have a lot of older guys dropping in value that may have a little left in the take but also have young guys that are unproven or coming off injury that are providing value. I typically secure three heavy hitting rbs early in my drafts and won a league last year using it. However, i find myself drawn to receivers early this year. It is a strange year.

Depends on scoring, but if I can't get CMC or Ekeler I'm going WR/WR/WR or a TE if I can get Andrews/Kelce.

Then I'm looking at these guys in the 4th/5th/6th:

Mixon
Gibbs
Walker
Aaron Jones
Sanders
Mattison
Dobbins
Conner

ETA: Same strategy for Auction. Spending up for a couple of WRs or WR/TE and then getting value on these guys.

ETAA: There are some RBs with 3rd round ADPs that are values there too, and Jacobs may be there before long. I wouldn't mind getting any of these in the 3rd round.

Najee
Etienne
Breece
