This is all about game flow. If the Saints get up in this game then AP disappears and CT is the guy to start. Vegas thinks NO wins easily at -7. I'd start Thompson but it's no landslide

Need to start 1 WR and 1 RB in PPR:

Emmanuel Sanders @ NYJ
Alshon Jeffery vs MIN
Josh Gordon vs Indy (Thursday)

James Conner vs ATL
Carlos Hyde vs BAL
Phillip Lindsay @ NYJ

None. Edelman is good but he's a WR2 Adams Hopkins and Thomas are must starts when healthy. Maybe in the future you could start Edelman over Diggs maybe...

I’m not going to ask

Assuming PPR

Thomas Hopkins Diggs start every week

Adams has been TD dependent, hasn’t cracked 100 yards yet. Still seeing the volume but Rodgers injury isn’t helping. I would play Edelman over Adams

You should look to consolidate those guys though

Assuming that you went zero RB. Who are your RBs? This is a curiosity question. I did zero RB in one league and it’s worked out so far

Got Adams on a trade. Went WR heavy this year and so my RBs are struggling. I've made 2 questionable trades and mighta alienated the trade scene.

Adams gets a lot of looks, but also draws the tougher DB

Appreciate it

Right, he’s holding his own but he’s better suited to not be the attention of the defense. Doesn’t help that the other GB WR are hurt

Adams is TD dependent? He's got 12 and 10 TDs over that past 2 years, so it's pretty safe to say he scores..often.

5/81/1 on 8 tgts
8/64/1 on 12 tgts
7/52/1 on 9 tgts
8/81/0 on 14 tgts

Edelman went over 100 yards 1 time in 2016 and his high catch total was 9. Adams first 4 games is the ceiling for Edelman, and I'd argue Adams will only improve.

I'll probably look into more on Sunday.

My matchup is probably gonna come down to the Monday game. I have either Mark or thompson along with Alex Smith he has Kamara.

TD dependent to cash on WR1 value, yes. TDs were the difference between 13, 14 and 12 point games in the weeks he scored. Even still, we are looking at WR16 thus far in PPR.

Edelman went over 100 yards 1 time in 2016 and his high catch total was 9.

He was WR14 that year and played half the season w/ full attention from the D w/ no Gronk. Like Adams, he's not really cut to focal point of an offensive aerial attack. He averaged a floor of 12 points per game

And he actually had 2 100 yard games in the regular season and 2 in the playoffs

8/101
8/151/1
8/137
8/118

Disagree with defense

Vikings and Chargers have lit up the Rams secondary the past two weeks.

the 2nd and 13th* best passing offense in the league vs the 29th in SEA?

quote:

Russell Wilson has thrown one or fewer touchdown passes in 8-of-12 career games against the Rams and has been a fantasy QB1 in just four of those games. He doesn’t have a great history versus the Rams as two of his three lowest scoring games from 2017 came against the Rams

Baldwin was crushed by this defense a year ago, catching just 5-of-12 targets for 43 yards and hasn’t gone over 40 yards against the Rams since the 2015 season.

Wade Phillips has had Seattle's number, it appears. Baldwin isnt 100%.

You can try and talk yourself into that one jbird

does not =

Adams 4 game avg would have made him WR #3 last year and Edelman's WR14 finish would be outside the top 32 this year..

If some of my stats are slightly off ie the 1 100 yard game, myfantasyleague doesn't post week 17 stats or playoffs since 99% of leagues stop week 16.

I'll leave off here. I know you're big on forming your own opinion, and I try to do the same. I like to use Fantasypros and see the consensus rankings of all the fantasy sites to see if my opinion is in line with the masses or if I'm making a huge leap. Of 67 rankers so far this week, 1 has Edelman higher. LINK I responded with more effort than normal because it's a very bold call.

He's getting more volume than what I expected, and yes he's a due for a dud. However, I'd take him over Thomas. DT has been bad, and I don't see the turn around coming.

I own Adams, im not saying it's this huge difference. I think you may be misinterpreting my value. TBH I approached his inquiry with more of the ROS outlook w/ those WRs rather than this week. I would not start edelman over adams on a short week coming off suspension

Im not big on referencing back to past seasons nor interested in extrapolating a 4 game samples. Too many variables and we'd really be doing a disservice putting any real stock into it

I also stopped looking at weekly rankings years ago when I realized I was doing more research than most "rankers" and consistently outperforming them. Most are just throwing lists out there to the public to gobble up, with no care or thought put into it. Especially free sites.

Tevin Coleman vs PIT
Nelson Agholor vs MIN
Shady McCoy vs TEN
Quincy Enunwa vs DEN
Mike Williams vs OAK

Need to pick one for my flex. .5 ppr

Currently leaning Williams bc i expect their game to be high scoring
