I don't think I'd drop Boutte. Not yet anyway. He was coming on as Maye's favorite target to end the year last year, and started hot week 1. Week 2 was weird, but salvaged with a TD. Don't forget, Boutte was at one point a very elite talent and talked about as a 1st round pick before his injury, so it's not like he's some journeyman out of nowhere. There's a narrative for him to be pretty productive and end the year as NE's WR1

I help my wife with a work league she's in. Used to be a free league with 10 teams and 4/5 bench spots, usual amount of starters and no IR. Suddenly this year it's a paid league, 14 teams, 8 bench spots, 3 IR and you have to start 2 flex. Complete 180 and quite an adjustment. I've never seen such a barren wasteland on the waivers. She lost Burrow and Kittle right off the bat and there is not one single starter available at QB/TE on the waivers. She's toast already

1/2 PPR

This is a low end of the bench roster spot. I have Addison stashed, and I’m wondering, considering how awful the Vikings QB situation is, if I should just drop him for Boutte.

I’m probably overthinking it. Thoughts?

Mine is a superflex, there are 37 rostered QBs

Hmm that's tough. Addison comes back week 4 huh?

I like Addision as a stash, but check out his upcoming schedule:

Week 3: still suspended
Week 4: on road vs Steelers
Week 5: on road vs. Browns
Week 6: Bye week
Week 7: vs. Eagles

That's rouuggghhh. You probably don't want to start him his first week back on the road with shaky QB play. And on the road vs a good Browns D doesn't feel good either. Then a bye week and one of the most suffocating Ds in the league. You may not realistically feel good playing him until week 8 at the earliest. For that reason, I think I lean Boutte just for the sake of being usable for the next 5 weeks.

Thanks! In a perfect world, I use neither one.

Were Browning and Tonges owned? Those are both decent options.
