Run the ball better? You do know that Murray ran for over 1,800 yards last season, right?

How many yards do you think Murray will run for this season?

Less than 1,800, but he's an eagle now so it doesn't really matter.

Taking away his talent from the Cowboys hurts your argument that the Cowboys will run the ball better because they might have improved their offensive line.

I guess 1,200, but it won't matter because he is an eagle. I have not put any thought into fantasy football at this point. This is just a blind guess.

Collins (not drafted BTW) might be an upgrade to the line, but they still need to replace Murray. This post was edited on 6/9 at 2:22 pm
He wasnt drafted because a murder investigation scared teams off and he said he wouldnt sign rounds 4-7. He would have been a top 15 pick genius

Only 1200? Now why is that? Youre right, he's an Eagle. The Eagles dont have the Cowboys O-line or philosophy.

Calm down, tough guy. I wasn't insulting your beloved LSU alum. I was just pointing out to dnm3305 that he wasn't drafted, simply picked up as an UDFA. Is he still a potentially great player? Definitely.

You're completely correct. The Cowboys have a better line than the Eagles. Possibly the best O-line in the league. So does that mean that Murray can attribute a large part of his success to the Cowboys' O-line? Yep. But that has nothing to do with predicting how well the Cowboys will rush the ball this year.

Murray is still a talented back and they replaced him with a RB that has played his entire career through injury. In fact, he's already hurt and the Cowboys brought in Ben Tate and FELIX JONES for tryouts. I don't think things are looking like the Cowboys will be better at rushing the ball this year.

damn my thread turned into a cowboys run game thread. :bang head: I don't think the rb's in Dallas can do what murry did. I love shady normally but there is to much unknown in Buffalo. My number one fantasy rule is don't pick good players on bad teams. and with the number one pick its almost imperative that you don't miss.

Going back to your original question, in a 6 pt QB TD league, you pretty much have to take Luck.

If you don't want to go QB that early, I wouldn't necessarily shy away from L Bell, even with the suspension. You just have to get past the first 4 weeks, then you know you're set for the rest of the season and down the stretch.

taking Dez #1 in a non PPR league is a major derp to begin with.

Taking him #1 in a ppr is pretty questionable too.

Message by snizzle 1 point 25 yards and 6 for td

If QB is getting 6 for a TD, 4 being "normal", I'd take luck first.

First overall pick kinda sucks, I don't like it

Dez is talking hold out. If he misses any training camp, he's sliding down my board.
quote:

Father Time is lurking as an enemy to the Cowboys and super wideout Dez Bryant in a contract dispute that is beginning to boil over.
The two sides have just under one month to agree on a long-term deal. If the job is not done, Bryant would play the season under the franchise tag. He also might boycott at least the season opener.

Agent Tom Condon is not optimistic.

"There hasn't been any converations," Condon told SiriusXM NFL Radio. "The only offer that we ever received from the Cowboys was the same offer that they gave to Dez prior to the time that he played the last year of his rookie contract."

Condon went on to say that Bryant could skip multiple games, which would be his prerogative if he winds up playing the season under the tag.

You just can't consider him for No. 1. Bell is suspended, which makes him a shaky No. 1 pick. Luck was the top scorer in my league last year, and we give only 4 points for TDs. If you get 6 points for TDs, you may not get another 40 TDs and 4700 yards, but even if he declines a little, you won't be sorry.
