Understandable. Just saw it as a way to upgrade your 1B and I upgrade an SP. If you see anything else that would work, just let me know.

I like Adams at first. But, let me look it over, again. I'm really wanting to add third base pop so I can move Carpenter to 2B. Pedroia would help you out it seems.

Forgot to make moves.

Think I will probably get a look at those rankings tonight. Will make a new thread once the season starts or I post them (whichever comes first).

I guess we'll see our first real example of the use of FAAB come Sunday. I'd probably say we'll see 10-12 bids easily for Chapman's replacement.

Yeah, I already don't like this stupid system. Very disappointed when I went to pick up Broxton at 10:30.

I vote no for this shite next year.

Twice I think... which I think is gay. I'm really active so I like to make moves daily and that kind of zaps what I do regarding pitchers in a roto. I would have drafted better starting pitching. Oh well it's my fault for not completely grasping the new rules.

The new guys from last year and MWG. I like to stick to the "keep it simple stupid" mantra.

It adds a little strategy but also caters to the casual player. Id rather a 1st come 1st serve method

Exactly.

Kind of feels like I'm being penalized for being active. It favors more towards lazy owners. The only thing gayer would to make it a weekly league. Probably suits this FAAB system the best.

I think you can be just as active, just will take more planning centered around two days out of the week. I didn't realize it would be like this either but it still seems like the most fair system.

Honestly, I thought the FAAB money were to be used on players that were put on waivers while there was still the ability to pick up FA's on a daily basis.

I do agree this system is fair and it actually puts everyone on an even keel, but like I said, I would have approached the draft quite differently. Now the average staff I assembled purposely, will take a lot more effort to manage.

Exactly why the system is in place and should be in all fantasy leagues, everywhere.

I think it disadvantages the people who are really paying attention to baseball.

well what if i went to pick up broxton at 10:29? why should whoever gets broxton be decided by who has better internet, or who is awake, or who has the quickest access to news?
