No, lol. Chubb is likely a Top 5-10 RB and has a very solid playoff schedule.

I said the same thing about an Aaron Jones trade... the potential upside to CMC is not enough to justify the risk that he doesn’t play at all or at minimum is used more moderately.

I'd stay put if I were you.

If anything... I’d see if he’d bite on Drake & one of your WRs.

Chubb for CMC is a very expensive price to pay, IMO, considering his risks and the playoff schedule of Browns RBs.

Yet you probably won’t start Drake and one of those WRs (if he could use) may seal the deal. If he needs wins now, CMC is worthless to him.

ETA: Both Ridley & Diontae have injury risks, so that’s a wash. I guess I’d rather keep Ridley over Diontae, but it’s close.

If he's in must win mode, send the Gio/Mixon+one of those receivers. If that doesn't work. Then do Connor+one of those receivers.

What that does is, if either of those gets accepted and CMC never comes back you still have a roster that can compete to win in the playoffs.

If you send Chubb and they shut CMC down for the year, it's going to be hard to win with Gio/Mixon and Conner at RB even with those stacked receivers.

As a last resort, look at the rosters of the contenders and see how you stack up currently. If you don't think it's looking good, then I would send Chubb. I know Chubb is a top five back ROS, but CMC is just on another level. So that's a risk I'd take if I feel like the contenders are on another level. But it shouldn't come to that as sending an RB and a WR as I said would be more than fair for someone trying to make the playoffs.

I traded CMC for CEH, but have Chubb, Sanders, Gurley, Swift with Ekler on IR. Have a playoff spot locked up, so CMC was a playoff trade. Chubb has a good schedule & CMC should score big until week 17.

I'd be shocked if he played this week, but that's encouraging for his prospects after the bye
