That kinda puts me at a disadvantage. Suddenly im playing 3 possible opponents and that's difficult when it comes to predicting # of starts i should use week 1 vs week 2

AH i think I've found the problem. Vanilla Ice won a game because a team went over the 35 limit. A game he would have won had the other player abided by the 35 game limit. He was barely beat and the other team played 36. This algorithm still reads Vanilla Ice as being 7-9. Because it didn't recognize your manual correction of making Vanilla Ice the winner a few weeks back.

Week 7, Vanilla Ice beat Team Fear due to Team Fear playing 36 players. Team Fear won by 16 points and his worst player Sunday(who he would have obviously sat had he followed the rules) scored more than 16 points. John Leuer I believe.
That win is not being reflected in ESPN playoff algorithm. Because you manually corrected it, you have to make the manual adjustment on the playoffs as well

and the 5,6,and 7 have a 3 way play in, that could possibly be a solution
ETA: I forgot that would hurt the 3 and 4 seed. Probably not doable

Quick Fix ... makes the playoffs only 4 teams. They all miss.

nah, I solved it. Read up ^^^ . I would have to ask Vanilla Ice. Maybe he'd be down for that solution because he knows how bad it sucks to get kicked out of the playoffs when you are sure you are in, but I think its pretty clear what happened. ESPNs algorithm thinks he is 7-9. It therefor needs to be disregarded and the league manager sets the playoffs.

Look at the link the league manager just posted. It says that manual corrections are not recognized by the ESPN formula.
Earlier this year, ESPN recognized Vanilla Ice has having lost to Team Fear. However, Vanilla Ice actually won the game. The league manager had to manually go in and correct it. But as seen in the explanation from ESPN, their playoff algorithm did not recognize that.

I dont think this is the case. If it didnt take you into consideration, I wouldve been the 6th seed and not 5.

look at what they posted. They absolutely say, in no uncertain terms, that manual corrections will not be considered. Without manual corrections, Vanilla is 7-9.
Perhaps they are somehow counting the record but not the points? No idea. But its obvious based on the algorithm, Vanilla Ice can't possibly be out. And theres also an explanation saying that manual corrections aren't considered. Vanilla won a game manually. I think its pretty obvious.
