Thoughts on 2 flex spots?

Context:
Been in the same league for 14 years. We are a 12 team league with 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1TE, 1 Flex, defense, and a kicker. It’s PPR. The flex is (RB/WR/TE).
We are considering adding an additional flex position this year but the league is split on it. Any thoughts on the pros and cons from someone who has done it?
My thought is it will put more emphasis on the draft and give the teams who are able to draft depth better have an advantage.

Do it. Get rid of the kicker and put in a second flex. You'll never look back.

I'm always for as many starting positions as possible (within reason). The deeper you go, the more it favors people who know their shite.

We went to 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE and a flex. There are SO many good receivers in the league that I believe that this is the best way to do it.
