10-team standard

Freeman(8) Flacco(11)
Charles(1) Gore(3) Forte(5) J Stewart(10)
A Johnson(2) Bowe(4) Marshall(7) S Moss(12)
V Davis(6) Gonzales(14)
Rackers(13) Cundiff(15)
Eagles(9)

Weak at QB, but 9 QBs went in the first 2 rounds, so I kicked back til Round 8.

I like my RB. Took Forte as RB3 since Gore is injury risk. Kinda wish I had passed on him and took D Clark, Witten, or Finlay there. Who knows what I'll get w/Stewart, but couldn't pass on him in the 10th.

Anyway...Thoughts?

Love the team. QB is your only weak point. 3 great RBs, 3 great WRs, and a top 5 TE. Depth is your only issue since you don't have many bench players. 1 question: WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE A BACKUP KICKER??!?!??!?!?

My dad asked me to draft his 8 teamer work league at the last minute. Started off with AP, McCoy, Rivers, then I feel my draft went to shite. I'm not a fan of my WR core at all for an 8 team league. I hate 8 teamers but here is how it went:

1st overall pick, 8 team, standard (QB 6pt per TD, -1 per INT)

QB: Rivers
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Bowe
WR: Colston
RB: AP
RB: L McCoy
TE: Finley

Bench:
qb-Bradford
rb-A Bradshaw, Hightower, Knowshon, Tolbert
wr- Maclin, Britt, AJ Green

Wr: m. Williams (TB), manningham, s. Moss
D/ST: ravens, 49ers

can't really rate 8 teamers, but your rb core is sick. your team is pretty solid, yeah your widereceivers are pretty much BOOM or BUST
but finley was a great pick.
you will do fine

Gates/Davis were gone so I went with Finley, highest upside IMO. Yea, the WRs are my drawback

ETA: Knowshon in the 13th was pretty funny though

I have Kolb. Unfortunately, loading up at RB/WR bones you when it comes to getting the top echelon QB's. I'm basically praying that this is the 1 year Stafford doesn't get hurt.

I have Braford/Kolb combo. Kolb looked solid in preseason, especially hooking up with fitz for an 80 yard bomb. You'll be fine at QB

I actually have a trade offer out to someone for Flacco. I'm offering Kolb and Reggie B. for Flacco. Do you think I should go through with it if I can get Flacco or cancel?

Reggie is a ppr machine, who are your other rbs? if you have solid rb depth I'd do it.

Thanks.

Just have to stay healthy and get a little lucky. IDP was an interesting addition that we decided to add last year. Nice little wrinkle.

yep, but looking at freeman's numbers from last year i think he was a steal in the 8th. he had 6 20+ point weeks in 2010 and one of those was 41 a point week.

10 team league, standard scoring, instead of team D we have DL, LB, DB

QB's: Rivers and Cutler

RB's: Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Marshawn Lynch, Jonathan Stewart

WR's: Kenny Britt, Jeremy Maclin, Austin Collie, Lance Moore, Donald Driver

TE: Gates

K: Mason Crosby

DL: Julius Peppers
LB: James Laryngitis
DB: Quinton Mickell

I'm pretty happy, just wish I had a bigger name at WR, thats my only worry

Backup kickers AND defenses are the ultimate NOOB move

Add another position play with a chance that he could benefit from a starter's injury

If CJ plays, your RB core is ridiculous. RB bench is kinda weak for a 10 team. Stud QB, decent backup. You don't have big name WRs, but the ones you do have, are potential sleepers. Unless one is injured, I wouldn't have a problem starting those three. Can't get better than gates! Overall, decent team. Would be better with more depth and the fact that CJ is out right now really hurts
