With the 47th pick the cowboys select......
Dee Ford, DE/OLB Auburn.
Cowboys attack their front 7 again, with this value pick. Ford slide out of the 1st round and the Boys cant pass it up and hope Ford can spark their pass rush after losing Demarcus Ware and help out their secondary

Damn, I don't think I would have taken him with any of my picks but that's a surprise

with the 48th pick, the Baltimore Ravens select
Davante Adams WR Fresno State
the Ravens signed Steve Smith during free agency but they could definitely stand to add another WR.

Pick 17 of the 2nd round the jets select troy Nicklas. TE Notre dame this ooffense needs more weapons. I was torn between him and another wr left on board but this guy has great hands and is physical. Geno needs a dependable weapon and that's what he provides. With the depth at wide receiver they can still add one later on.

With the 50th pick in the NFL draft the Miami Dolphins select...
JaWuan James, OT, Tennessee
At 6'6" 310+lbs this guy has the size and athleticism to play at the next level. A staple at RT for the Vols for the last few years gives the Dolphins a potential starter right away opposite of LT, Branden Albert, turning this once cluster-frick of an O-Line into something very respectable.

With the 19th selection in the 2nd round, 51st overall, the Chicago Bears select....
Deone Bucannon, Safety, Washington St. (6-1, 211)
His name is pronounced DAY-own, and he represents a huge area of need for the Bears as they continue to overhaul their defense. However, the Bears have whiffed often on the safety position hoping here that they have finally found the next Mike Brown. Or better yet, another Doug Plank or Gary Fencik. Deone has all the measurables and past production that you look for in a prospect. Add in the fact that he is a physical "thumper" and you have a perfect old school Bears type player.

Love Bucannon this year. Good pick for the Bears.

I hate that this moved to the Fantasy Board. Chicken owes me some compensatory picks.

I think Cowboys fans would be very, very happy getting both Jernigan and Ford with their first two picks. Don't think they'll get that lucky though.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that on this site and around this town (Baton Rouge), if you're not one of those people that's talking 100% local sports all the time (LSU, Saints, LA high school sports, Pelicans) that you're treated like a second class citizen. Somebody tell these people that there is more to life than just stuff that goes on in Louisiana.
End of rant.
End of rant.

I mean I agree, but in all fairness it IS a Louisiana based message board. But yes MSB topics that pertain to MORE SPORTS (other than LSU, Saints, Pelicans) should be left alone.
