Yeah I get that they are locked in, I'm asking why. Why could I not trade my #1 pick for another persons keeper? Or is that just the rule that has been made and I need to move on haha.
Also, if I have 4 good keepers and can only keep 3, what keeps me from trading my 4th player for someone elses draft pick? If I was Okie for example I would trade Sproles for anyones 1st/2nd rd draft pick. Sproles will be off the board in the first 3 picks, might as well let someone else keep him and grab their draft pick.

Fair enough.
Sproles could fall to you at 4, I don't think it's unreasonable.
Some really good players will be there at the top 5 picks.

Yeah. I know. And I need help bad. That's why I'd want to trade Nicks today as well to get a number 1 back.
That original trade offer is tempting, but I'd really hate to lose #4 overall.

I love Nicks but not over my other keepers unfortunately.
Without Manningham, and with Cruz burning safeties over the top, I think Nicks will have monster year.

I'm really open to anything as long as I can pick sooner than #21.
I think the gamble of waiting to see who falls to #4 may be the best one.
Maybe swap picks later/earlier?
For example, swap first rounders and swap second rounders....
Something like that?
