What if I don't want to keep three of my shitty players? Do I get an extra draft pick, and if so, what round?

That's not right. This is what I was saying before. The "standings" page on the old league reflect the consolation bracket finish, so 7-7 Okie is ahead of me, even though I finish 8-6.

If I estimated everyones keepers correctly, there will be some good players still at 8.
There seemed to be a very top heavy league when it comes to keepers. Some teams had like 4 or 5 legit ones and others had 1, maybe 2.

What do you need to know?
It's pretty straight forward.
3 keepers must be selected by Thursday. A player can only be kept for 3 consecutive seasons before he gets thrown back into the player pool.

Yeah, I haven't gotten to look at it. But I presume whichever of the 4 must keeps I have that I throw back, will be gone before my pick.
