Posey + Brandon Crawford is a helluva of a 1/2 punch

My pitching staff started out so good this year, and now they have been so bad.

Well you don't even have one true ace on your staff. And your RP is pretty uninspiring. Good thing for you Anibal Sanchez is pitching out of his mind so far, but he will come back down to earth. He always starts off strong then ends the season around 3.70 and 10 wins.

No, but I feel that I have 5 very good starting pitchers and another solid one, which is good enough to win, which is more than most teams can say IMO.

Who besides Gio and CJ would you say are "very good pitchers?" Gallardo and Sanchez strike a lot of guys out but their ERA and WHIP are both not good.

Sanchez has been good for a few years now. Has great stuff and it's starting to show more than it has in years past. He hasn't even been that lucky, as his xFIP is 2.94 this year. His xFIP last year was lower than his ERA last year so this showing was sort of expected.

Yovani shows brilliance at times, and doesn't at other times. But he strikes out enough guys that having a 3.50-3.75 ERA doesn't hurt. He's one of those guys where his xFIP has been pretty damn solid over the last few years, just have to start being more consistent. I'd call him good.

Daniel Hudson is another guy that I'm very high on, but he's been out.

And Worley is more than servicable as a 6th starter.

As I said, across the board, there is probably only a handful of teams starting staffs I would take over mine.

Fair enough. I like your pitching staff alright and your offense is picking it up nicely, obviously.

Why the frick are you starting Harper and leaving De Aza on the bench, btw?

He is hitting .111 with an OPS of .394 this year against lefties and was facing CJ.

Harper is out there if anybody wants to send an offer. I want to be able to play De Aza on a regular basis.

I'm not going to actively shop him so don't expect me to trade him for shite, but he will be yours for the right offer.

Whitie, sent you a note on my decline if you want to check it out. I'll try and find a counter to send you this afternoon.

31, been staring at the screen for the last ten minutes trying to find a match. Pedroia is the most intriguing (obviously not straight up), but you have no back up there and I don't have a 2B to really send in return so that doesn't seem to be a match. If you see something else that might kickstart some negotiations, send it. Doesn't necessarily have to include DP.

Does DL City have more guys injured than me?

I lost Luebke for the year.
Now Berkman.
Cespedes on the DL.
Jennings on the DL.
Quentin on the DL (though I knew that going in).

Swamps your pitching is garbage. But you do have 10 players in the top 100 of Yahoo rankings. (3 in the top 20). That probably leads our league. I only have 6. Four are pitchers and my two hitters in the top 100 are Melky and Reddick. Not exactly hall-of-famers.
