the fact that tdxx league regulars are dropping out of this league at a pretty good clip should tell you something

the only notable is rondo at this point.

you are going to miss rouge, karma, or boo?

rouge picked 5 TEs last year and never checked his team. Karma was even worse.

i mean chances are we replaced them with more competitive owners.

RB
Rice(he's the whole offense)
Mccoy(PPR machine and is explosive
Foster(I really like Ben Tate, he fits houston system perfectly imo.)

Mcfadden(could be #1 if he's healthy)
Mathews(lone back in SD, and showed flashes of big things to come)
Murray(was setting the league on fire last year when he was healthy, but felix is still there)
AP(injury concerns me)
Chris Johnson(which CJ will show up?)
QB:
Rodgers
Brees
Brady

will I miss them? no. but in addition to them dropping out from last year so did chowds and boom. I just think the turnover rate being so high points to the fact that with no keepers and so many teams people arent invested in staying year to year so they can just jump in and out from league to league and year to year

Karma isn't really a tdxx participant - just basketball and really shouldn't be in basketball.

In this league we've lost McCain also...and he was the guy that started tdxx with this football league. Anyway, it is what it is now.

and he's been non existant in all these leagues for like 2 years. he doesnt have the time to devote anymore

are you guys really upset at these guys not playing? What is the point here that i seem to be missing?

or is it you want it to be a keeper league that bad?

Boo, rouge, karma, and boom all dropped out because of lack of interest.

not really sure why chowds dropped.

in the end, there are 24 teams total. That is a large group of people, there is going to be some weeding out. Every single one of those guys have proved to be replaceable, as far as in-season activity as well as knowledge

Who really gives a frick what the turnover is in this league year after year?

Seems like we have a solid core group that's committed to making this league as competitive as possible.

You can add one more to that list. I'll be in this for the long haul. This is now my biggest league and happy to be apart of it.

I don't get made at guys dropping out but honestly after the draft it probably takes about a couple hours for an entire season to manage a fantasy football team.

I am in 2 other leagues already...One I have run for 10 or so years and a work one.

Last year I won the league I run and still didnt enjoy it that much.

This isnt so much about not having time or wanting to make Marle happy...its more about getting to the point where 3 fantasy football leagues seems like overkill ya know?

Agreed.

I'm in four fantasy baseball leagues this year and its too much, especially about to start school.

The biggest thing I like about the td leagues is the fact that it's a solid group of owners which have stayed in tact for a good amount of time and potentially could for a long time to come. I just think what we did with football league makes it just like any other league we play in and it's no big deal to drop out bc it's the same as the others we play in.

I think the keeper aspect is also something good about the td leagues as it keeps the three leagues going all year round. I like the idea of the auction I wish we would incorporate the auction into a keeper league with less owners. Maybe in the future
