Yes, try this. I literally searched the whole site, and i came to the fact that these players dropped after waivers go through on WED become FREE AGENTS after 2 days, and do not pass through waivers.

That is cool. It sucks when you are hamstrung late in the week and need to add someone and can't.
I know we don't usually change rules in the middle of the year, but i think we should discuss this for the rest of the season, especially if no one can come up with a good reason to have this capped.
Just my 2cents. Things have run smoothly. Sometimes you do not know about somethings until you come upon it. With that being said i dont think it should be frowned upon to discuss changing some rules in season when this does come up.

I don't either. This is not my league. There are 24 owners. I just have some additional responsibility. We can put it to a vote if you'd like. It would take 75% of the vote to pass.
What should we vote on changing it to? 6? Unlimited?
Personally I think 6 should be enough for 1 week, but I am also one who thought 4 would be enough.

this week had it been uncapped i would have made 6 add/drops easily and wouldn't have blinked or even thought i was making a lot of moves. Sometimes they just add up, ya know?
and i dont want to make it like i am the only one that thinks this. I wish more people would add their 2 cents.
if they want 4, then fine. I can work around that. but it is kind of silly.

I'd say unlimited. Sometimes you just change your mind and go back and forth, a new sleeper emerges etc.
No one should be getting "blocked" if they actually manage their team and add/drop guys on Wednesday like any normal manager. Have your lineup set before Sunday and you'll be fine. People that don't deserve to be penalized by risking getting "blocked".

I wanted unlimited. I have never understood capping transactions. Fortunately, I have only needed to make four in a week so far.

and i still dont get this whole blocking thing that people are worried about.
if you pick someone off waivers, the only way to truly block someone is to keep player on your own bench and waste a roster spot until what, Saturday? Is it really worth it?
How do you block someone? shite, how do you even determine intent to block someone? Just stupid. It's almost impossible to do in football.

i know, but it was brought up in week 2 again and still deemed unresolved. Port said one thing, then it was talked about more, and never decided upon.

I'm not for the 4 roster move limit. I made mistakes adding DEF in another league only to realize they were on a bye too. BOOM that counts as a move. Well frick me.
Plus, you shouldn't get penalized for being active. It's not your fault you set your alarm for 3 am on Wednesdays to scoop the best available free agents out from under people, then make your DEF/K adjustments later in the week and goof on one of your moves. amirite?
ETA: There was an argument to be made with that quote from Gyno being for the rule, then I realized it was taking too long to make, and I wasn't that passionate about being for or against it, so I ended this post being against the rule.
