I can't say anything about Maclin, bc honestly, you could be right. I think it's a gamble, but 2010 could happen again with an injury free year the rest of the way.

ETA: With Cutler being a piece for a trade, I just want to remind everyone that Flacco is available.

Does Vick's injury potential scare you at all in acquiring Maclin? I do like Foles, but still...

Injuries are definitely the risky part.

From the outside, Toula likely wins the deal, because he didn't need Cutler and gets a likely better WR, but I felt more comfortable with Cutler with a shite matchup than any of the guys on the WW (who all had terrible matchups too).

Yeah, but I try not to makes moves/not make moves predicated on injuries that may or may not happen. Even though Vick has missed time in every season ever and probably will again, I know.

ESPN ranks Nelson at 14 this week and Maclin at 28.

One analyst has it at 17 and 24.

And that's with Nelson vs INDy and JMac @ PIT.

Why do you think it's terrible?

you traded a #1 WR in a potent offense for probably the 5th option in Philly and Cutler after 1 good game

IMO you could have done much better

and I just looked..you own Stafford

you trade starters for starters not bench and bye week filler

all IMO of course

Based on what? Jennings being hurt?

He's 25th in WR scoring thus far.

Cutler could have thrown 18 picks Sunday and it wouldn't really have mattered. I didn't acquire him because I thought he was turning a corner or something. He's playing the Jags. Cutler is the one guy that could probably frick that up, but decent chance he has a serviceable day, at worst.

Maclin comes with risk, I'm aware, but 5th option? DeSean, Shady, Celek? Who else you putting ahead of him? Jason Avant? Bryce Brown?

Only Celek, Shady and DeSean all have more targets, but Shady only by one and that's with Maclin missing an entire game.

I just don't see him being worthless for the rest of the season, I guess. He may not be as good as Jordy, though.

I don't think anyone else would give me a serviceable QB and a solid WR for Jordy.

I had one other offer and involved me giving up Stafford...
