I'm rolling with Minor in my dynasty league tonight at Los Angeles. I'm a tad nervous about that one.

Another LHP in the Reds bullpen goes on the DL.

Chapman is never gonna bust into the rotation.

Jurrjens was lucky last year. It wore off late, though.

Minor will do well as long as he walks Kemp.

Do you really think Chapman would thrive in the rotation?

Seems like he'd throw a ton of pitches.

If they refuse to use him in the rotation, I don't know why they won't just give him the CL spot. He's shown more than enough control this year to where he won't be a worry.

That would also allow them to use Marshall to be used in a long relief role, which he shouldn't have a problem with since he used to start.

He's quickened his delivery, which has led to better command. He's also lowered his velocity to the mid to high 90's to improve command.

Sunday was the first time he has walked someone this season. Yeah, the strikeouts will lead to high pitch counts, but that can be said for all flamethrowing starters.

He's ready, and the Reds front office agrees. Its the lack of help in the bullpen that is holding the move up. He's been pretty damn valuable in his current role.

Rumors are flying around that JJ Hoover (acquired in the Francisco deal from Atlanta) could be the closer eventually. He just got called up today though, so it wont be soon.

I like him a lot. Just not sure if he's more than a 5 or 6 inning pitcher. I think they'd be better suited to just name him the closer and let him shine the next 10 years.

I think deep down the Reds feel like he is an injury risk if he gets extended innings.
