IT IS. more than half of it is the real Otis song. Then it's rapping over a looped Otis part. which is a build to a really amazing climax in the original that totally MAKES the fricking song. And the rap version never gets there. And then it ends with Kanye squealing like a stuck pig for the last 15 seconds.

and i liked the record too. i just think the song got picked as an homage to otis.
but i can't help it if i hate that they ripped off a perfect song, without really doing it justice. 2:35 is what the whole song is slowly building towards. One huge climax of sound and emotion.
