I don't see him leaving Westbrook.

I think he will do a 1 year deal and then they will both hit f/a 2 years from now.

Any contenders that wanna finish their playoff rosters off with a dude who has been top 35 over the last 30 just let hit me up. My last pick is a 6th so he will come pretty cheap.

First playoff team in TDBBL history to sellout.
Posted on 2/2/16 at 8:08 pm to Toula
there was a year either early in your tenure or right before you joined where i could have made the playoffs but sold out
you got too good + duncan and tyreke may be out multiple weeks. nobes is going to overtake me, so i will be in the bottom half of the bracket
and i mean i did get a top 5 player so it's not like i just got picks or something.

That is a head scratcher. You could have flipped KD to me and would have been loaded. I guess at some point you will play for this year.

can't believe playoffs teams bailing
i think we need some sort of overhaul.
we're in the middle of this terrible cycle that encourages people to compete for next year rather than the current. and its repercussions range from people quitting ridiculously early in the season to finally this.
i'm willing to drop all of my picks this year and consider starting over if we can come to a more long term solution about how to keep this league fun and competitive. we've had a two or three horse race all year. with the way the picks are distributed, we're likely to have a three horse horse race again next year (myself included). we go through this every year.
once again, i'm the one most likely to benefit from proceeding with the status quo. i said this ahead of my championship season as well.
i think the system is flawed and should be revamped. we're going on three years of the "tank and bank" strategy being rewarded.
proposals:
1) no future pick trading
2) league-wide re-draft (all keepers reassigned)
3) reduction of number of keepers down to 3? 1? none? encourages more turnover.
4) quitter tax: you can trade for next year's picks, but each pick you accumulate you chip in _____ dollars to THIS year's prize.
5) combination of any of the above.

Disagree on pretty much all of those. We have an active and competitive league. That should be celebrated, not stifled or hindered in any way. Resetting keepers? No pick trades (that's what makes a keeper league!)? All way too drastic. A few small changes though, could help.
How about a trade deadline? Novel idea I know. WTF happened to ours? Should be 2-3 matchups before playoffs. Would have kept a few of you still in the running.. Or at least forced you to make an honest decision weeks ago as opposed to waiting to til the last possible minute and bailing.
7th playoff team? I seem to remember that working pretty well last season to keep teams from selling out. Why did we get rid of it again? I know I voted to keep it.
Going back to 1 week playoffs. Would that help? Give the underdogs a fighting chance in the playoffs and make it a little more risky to go all in on players you know you can't keep.

Yea. It'd be interesting to look back and see how many champions won the year after selling out.
It's not impossible to compete year to year. Rondo, knat and I seem to be in the playoffs year to year. This will be the 4th year in last 5 I'll cash, but only had dominate teams the year after a rebuild.
I'd like some reform, have suggested it since joining the league. It just won't get much traction.
