would you take cash money over selling out for draft picks everytime?

I agreed with all of your points. I just wanted it to be known that I've only sucked in this league for two years, not three.

Although if Toula only 5-3's me, he should be ashamed of himself.

Why would I ever be ashamed of myself for an outcome in fantasy sports??...lol...

He was awfully proud of splitting the RW3R title.

you aren't having a bad week..you'd be close to 7-1'n Rondo and 5-3'n most contenders.
You glad I talked you into James Harden?

Yeah, harden has been beasting.
Also helped that Rubio went down and Ridnour took over, and Korver decided to go apenuts yesterday.
It probably ends up 6-2.

To counter your points:
- this IR spot debate is not reactionary. It was brought up early in the year, and was even suggested for someone like Steph Curry earlier. it was brought up BEFORE I had any season ending injuries, when I was watching other peoples keepers go down.
- what's different here is timing. Who cares of Rubio plays more games than Curry? That's been your choice to roll with Curry. You could have traded him at any point in the season. You SHOULD have the ability to trade him now and in advance of games that actually count. With this trade deadline in place, me or anyone with a keeper has to decide between losing a keeper without compensation and competing, OR packing it in. If you read my proposal post, you d know that I already pitched abolishing the trade deadline as the FIRST fix to this problem. This coupled with locking out the on playoff teams from picking up FA s during the playoffs would more than do enough.
- non contending advantage. I don't know how to make this more clear to you. People in this league play for multiple years. the non contenders have already paid their money for this year. It is a sunk cost. For the forseeable future. Their entry fees are in effect sunk costs. They might as well be "dues". There are few people here who will flat out drop out of the league, and if they did they d be quickly replaced. That money is goong t
o be there regardless. So essentially you are incentivizing people who are already incentivized. Keep them interested? Tell me how interested McCain has been in the rest of this seasons precedings since about a month ago.
the advantage that they get is applied to NEXT season. Of course they would rather be competing for the pot. But Look at Redd s draft picks. Tell me that that's not an ADVANTAGE going into next year. Tell me how just bc he lost and gave up early this year, that at the end of the year and going into next, he should be in a better position than someone who tried really hard, played the whole year, but lost in the semi finals.
You want a level playing field? Make it level. That doesn't seem level to me. Not saying prevent bad owners from trying to field more competitive teams, but there has to be a point where that stops. I think the ability to amass draft picks is enough. Having the ability to consolidate all your good players into 5 spots is enough.
You say this has been reactionary, yet these issues have been brought up for three years in a row. As has the game limit. I only want this league to continue to be the best and most fun of the fantasy leagues I play in. I really LOVE fantasy hoops.

i agree with this in theory, but i've yet to see a team who sold out and accumulated draft picks actually have success the next year. it seems they just do it again the next season

I see your points...I don't agree with them all.
As you know, my pick situation is pretty awful...and I have been injured as shite. So I have no dog in opposing this.
I feel that this league is great so I don't want to change anything.
I would be ok with a games played limit though.
