Matt, you're going to have a winning record but miss the playoffs by 2.5 games.

I like MattyV's team...with some savvy moves he will have a contenda

I think he makes the playoffs easily if he avoids injuries. That being said, he's gonna have to deal with some. I still think he's a contender though.

See, my team will compete with that team

So you don't think your team is twice as bad as wills as the redd rankings say?

I dont see any way that will finishes anywhere other than last. Like I said, the rankings are skewed because they think wills rookies are gonna make a bajillion threes somehow. Plus, I will agree that some of giraffe's players are underprojected. That being said, I can't really fap to it.
I'd be surprised if he made the playoffs. Not TOTALLY shocked, because crazy things happen, but surprised.

Let's be real doh. Someone like gyne can move next year picks early and shift that roster from zero to hero.
Post draft rankings are fun, but pointless because have the roster will turnover.
I predict Jake or Knat to win the league because of this.

Just for example, people would have been lol'ing at the bolded players last year in the preseason. ESPN probably had some shitty projections for them.
Or someone with the acumen to project that they would have been good would have cleaned up last season.
All it takes is a player to get minutes

I'm with ya, Giraffe.

it works in theory at least
Posted on 10/17/14 at 3:09 pm to GynoSandberg
Kawhi was actually a pretty trendy break out pick last year, probably in the 50-60 range preseason IIRC.
Posted on 10/17/14 at 3:12 pm to reddman
Speaking of breakout candidates, for some reason Draymond Greens ESPN projections are 0. Do those factor into the reddfig rankings?

best rebounding team ive seen yet. BLocks look good too. Plenty of viable big men
Big weakness i see is 3's.
You dont have many standouts, and as players i dont like some of those guys, but I think they come together pretty well. You're team will hinge on the development of all your 1st, 2nd and 3rd year players. Hardaway Jr, Wiggins, Olynyk, ennis, Middleton
