they added Turk, so i dont see much more improvement. But if u want to keep a center than gets 5 rebs a game....

exactly. I don't know how a 7' center with little handle takes a step up when a 6'10 guy who handles the ball well, wants the ball in his hands, and is an overall much better player, takes his spots on the floor.

If things don't work out I'll email rmcc and tell him that I really meant to trade for Okafor, but I got confused by the lighting in my house and it was all a big misunderstanding and see if he can reverse everything out until I get what I want.

Seems similar...a mistake was made by you, that you could have easily avoided, and that you never owned up to, and you emailed McCain and cried.

Thats how I saw it at least.

I don't think that group is shite at all. Mo Williams was 19th on ESPN's player rater last year, which uses our same scoring format. Nene was a top 6 center. S-Jax is eligible at sg, sf, and pf and fills up the stat sheet. Aldrige is an underrated pf with good shooting percentages, and several sites project Harris to be a top 3 pg.

um. actually I did own up to it.
on the league message board.
i admitted that I messed up in counting the picks for the round.

that doesn't change the fact that the Rick put the wrong pick, told me the wrong pick in a convo, and then confirmed the wrong pick when I asked for confirmation.

i made my complaint with the league commish, and as per normal in this league, i didn't get the ruling that I sought.

well the real question is this: Do you want Devin Harris?

I would suggest not relying on other people to overlook your mistakes.

The only person you can count on is the man in the mirror BJL.

I take full responsibility or not remembering that the 6th slot goes 19 in a snake draft. That was my fault.

I live in a world of mutual respect, cooperation and compromise. I don't live in your world. None of these things exist in the TDBBL.

So why don't you tell me again where I didn't take responsibility for my mistake again? And then show me where I bitched and complained about it and then said that I'd refuse to abide by McCain's ruling. (because that would be inaccurate also)

I didn't say that he wasn't. I didn't get the ruling that I sought. I said nothing about anything else.

I traded and confirmed for a pick that was misrepresented. That's the bottom line of this story. I made a protest, in the appropriate fashion, contacting my trade partner and the commish, and then let it be when the ruling was made.

I do too Big John...but there is no room to compromise on mistakes made or rule infractions after the fact.

Compromise would be to come to a middle ground on how we address a rule in the future...not how a mess up on your end is handled now.

the pick was misrepresented. rick offered a pick he did not have. I agreed to a pick rick could not offer me.

the mistake is not only mine. And while i have acknowledged my own error, neither you nor anyone else has admitted to any mistake made by Rick. Either he was mistaken, or he knowingly took advantage.

both make this a situation worthy of compromise and cooperation.
