that's not what happened. He offered me the 16th pick. Not his second rounder. The 16th pick. And then said he messed up and offered me the 18th pick.

It was stated in those terms. Not 2nd rounder.

And then he confirmed via AOL convo that it was the 18th pick.

The point is that regardless of what you think, I was well within my rights to make a complaint and open the situation up to debate. You judge the one pick to be insignificant, i do not.
And I'm not crying about it, I'm defending myself.

You're saying the onus is on me. That's not the truth. In good faith negotiations the onus is on both parties to represent what they have fairly and properly.

Yes its on you.

If you traded picks for a player prior to the picks being corrected in CBS website then you have to be responsiblle for yourself.


If rick pulled any moves and swindled you, then you have to accept that you got swindled and spread the word that Rick is a swindler.

You had all the tools at your disposal to not allow this to happen.


I am just a big believer in self accountability.

Yes, he purposly told you that he was sending you the 18th instead of the 19th because he knew that if he lied about it, you would go for it. That 1 spot made the difference.

I think that you realized after Durant, Dirk, and LBJ you are pretty thin. I gave out a good LOL when you said that you thought the guy that you wanted would be there at 18 but no way would he slip to 19.

i would like to try and move 2 of the three players for either sf or c

i can either give up picks to get a better player, or i will take a pick swap to take on a worse player

i would also like to get back in the first round, and would give multiple third round picks, picks and players, etc
