Analysis: This is bad and unexpected news for the Grizzlies and Fantasy owners as Gay was not expected to have suffered such a bad injury at first glance. Now he'll likely be out until the middle of March. Gay was averaging 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game over his last 10 contests before getting hurt. Now Fantasy owners will have to reserve him in all Fantasy formats.
If he stays on this timeline I think I can survive his absence.
I have Redd and Toula the next two weeks....he would come back halfway through my battle with SFP.
That combined with the fact that only 6 teams are competing for the 6 playoff spots I think I can tough it out.
If someone wants to make an offer I am listening...but I am not desperate.
