Now you'll be sitting pretty when someone drops a fringe top 200 guy

Train of thought is I am a winning squad if I have interest in a player then some of the other managers will say oh boom wants him let me take a long hard look at this guy. Then they see something they like n add him. When never would've done that if I hadn't brought his name up.

Exactly

Which is why I was piggybacking your Warren pickup. Gonna follow the blueprint to finish 5th, would be a big jump for me imo

To me the issue was similar to dropping a player mistakenly and then coming here and posting that you dropped the wrong guy. Even though 'the rule' may say that well you dropped the guy he now goes to waivers for everyone, common sense says no that doesn't make any sense. The guy you dropped would be re-added to your team. None of the teams who picked after me picked him. So no harm no foul. Tbh I shouldn't have even have to used a waiver. I surely wouldn't have had a problem if someone else in the league had the same issue come up. But people will look out for their own best interests instead of the league.

You are wearing this issue out bro. You passed on your pick. It's a Slow draft so you had as much time as you wanted to review the player pool and available rookies before passing/picking. You had the opportunity to make a selection or pass and you decided to pass. In the future, I would expect this situation to be handled the same way. You don't get to jump back in line and select a player when you realize you overlooked someone.

Congrats on your waiver claim. You clearly wanted the guy and used your waiver to get him. That's how it should have been handled this time and how we should handle it in the future.

Too bad I never overlooked him. What you are saying is a rule is a rule and you can't use common sense even when no one is negatively affected. In that case when a player is mistakenly dropped he is dropped and can't be added. Honest mistake? No one affected? It doesn't matter. A rule is a rule. Bad precedent to set IMO.

Did you decide to pass on your pick?

Nobody was affected by the pick this time, but I was on the clock for my pick. What if you jumped in and said you wanted to take the guy I was about to pick..who gets the player?

If I am wearing out the issue why are you still posting about it? I'm not gonna sit here and post to myself but I will have a response to others posts. So if you don't wanna read about it anymore then don't post about it.

Yea.

That's like saying 'did you drop Lebron'? In the situation before when you were trying to drop James Jones and dropped Lebron James mistakenly.

Uh, me. My pick is before you. And that didn't happen anyway so it's irrelevant. If you had picked warren. And then I said I didmt know that was the rules and want warren. Well of course no at that point he's your guy.

So when you typed PASS what you actually meant to type was TJ Warren?

The honest mistake was knowing the rule. Just like the honest mistake would be dropping the wrong player. In both situations the spirit of competition says that you shouldn't be a stickler about the rules bc no one was affected by the mistake.

Gonna be solid. I don't see the minutes in yr 1 for him to be a consistent fantasy guy though.
