Embiid is more likely to win, Simmons is more likely to get the most votes. Embiid is an all or nothing kinda guy, Simmons is more likely to rack up the 2nd and 3rd place votes.

Chances to be second or third : 10
Simmons chances to win: 8
Chances to be second or third: 25

No 4th place votes bubba. Either Embiid will be #1 or he won't be in the top 3. There's a chance they throw caution to the win and throw him out there 30 minutes a night (10% chance imo). In that case, he wins ROY. If they sit him out on back to backs, play him 20 mpg, he won't be first, second, or 3rd.
Simmons is gonna fill out that 2nd and 3rd spot on lots of ballets. He will get his 30+ minutes. But my math tells me that as far as first place goes, no it's a better chance that Embiid gets his minutes than that Simmons gets the 1st place.

You want to get even money for stuff that is 4-1 or 5-1 kinda odds. That dog don't hunt.
If i say something will happen that don't mean it should be a 1-1 bet
choice A 35%
choice B 30%

I say choice A will happen and you want me to bet as if it is a 50% chance of it happening (1 to 1) when in actuality it is a 35% chance but still the most likely.
