I tell you where this goes next

Guy skips pick (or hell, even makes a pick). Some available player inks a FA NBA. Owner gets to go and add the guy or switch out the player? Or if he just has a change of heart and now wants a certain guy. And the draft isn't even over to boot? No way, Jose.

Let's not get ridiculous. You add Warren through waivers or once it clears. This has been discussed a lot the last few weeks

I'm more tempted to go with the commish ruling but if it's a big deal to everyone I'll just go ahead and keep Nik.

I hate where this guy ended up, but the Nuggets have so many assets that I am hoping they make a move to open some space.

Added Malik Beasley

Dropped Cristiano Felicio

Sorry b we have to police this league as a whole sometimes. I'm sure you see the bad precedent this sets going forward.

I'd also like to think you're more in tune with the rules

Not to be a dick Boom, but I think when you pass on your pick then it's over. I personally think that Warren should run through waivers like every other undrafted player. I don't want him so I could care less, but I think that makes the most sense.

the only time IRL i've heard of a team passing on a draft spot was in the NFL draft when the team let the clock run out..then they were able to rejoin the draft and take their guy later in the draft no?

This is not the NFL draft. It's a "fantasy" basketball slow draft. You made a mistake and overlooked the player pool and now you want to use the actual NFL draft as a guideline for how our draft should work. Just own up and put Warren back in the player pool so we don't have to take a stupid vote on this.

NVM just saw that you did this before I drafted.

Well played

There is no bad precedent.

If you don't use your pick you can use it up unti the draft ends. No harm no foul.

I am willing to do a meet in the middle. Manually Move my waiver down to 14 and I keep warren.

What? You pass, you pass. You don't get a redo bc a player becomes available. Nuh uh.

He was available the whole time. He didn't become available.

Well why didn't you pay attention and pick him up then? Did you think he had to clear waivers? That was made pretty clear a few times that it wasn't the case for this season the past week.

The problem becomes what if an owner who passed and the next owner on the clock want the same guy, Who gets him? If you pass, you pass. IMO.

Thought I read a post you made about dropped players during the draft and then posts that said when the draft was done there would be waivers.

Yes, if the players dropped weren't drafted again then those players would go thru waivers. Go read.

My God dude, everyone understood the rule except you... you don't get to set "meet in the middle terms" because you didn't know the rule

You passed on your pick, thats the end of your selection
