My team was just as bad. I didn't have a dude like Tatum. I traded spare parts for late picks and hit on guys like Mitchell.

Guys are going to be injured. If you are willing to be patient you can turn a team around. It won't be overnight and you will get frustrated at times, but it can be done.

I agree that waivers as is hurts. We really need to consider changing and reducing rosters, at least back to 18. 20 is ridiculous. I get that it's a dynasty but you want to promote some action.

hell, Ive turned over Kemba and LMA in a month and a half

we have a long way to go but I have some hope with:

Fox
SGA
Gaz Harris
Josh Richardon
Baby Sabonis
Caris
Nurkic
Dzanan

Once Lonnie and Bonga hit, we're gonna be in bidness

Curious to what the league say. Personally, I love the 20 man deep rosters. I'm able to roster some dead spots and still hit my 45 games without streaming. Being able to own this Boucher fella and follow his G league games is fun AF. Couldn't do that with less roster spots.

I'm loving FAAB too. I've lost a few dudes by bidding short.

As I told Gyne, people should be sitting on dudes like Melton before the blow-up game. I'm kicking myself for not adding him earlier.

I got two kids, I NEED FAAB

I just gave him the lay of the land. There's a handful of owners who will deal straight up, there's a handful who aren't active in trades, and another handful that will only do a deal if they obviously win it.

Daily FAAB was pretty much a unanimous vote for the league. Melton is the first guy all year that a good game followed by a big FAAB spend the following morning. Most of the Melton types are on rosters already or continued to be cycled through add/drops by various teams.

If we cut roster size we would also need to cut the 45 game limit to something less...

I've learned about Isaac Bongo and Rodions Kurucs in the last week with these roster sizes. That's just so awesome

I get it fratty

Imo any type of baseball or basketball league that employs a daily format over a weekly is meant for the losers like me who are looking at stuff all day, adding dropping making moves etc. That was the itch I thought I was scratching getting back in

I believe what y’all are looking for here is a weekly league. This is a muddled system with no identity. What do you really have to know and how much time do you have to put into this thing now? What’s the motivation for researching and watching games? I just got league pass yesterday, now what? I can pop twitter open at 10 am and look at some boxscores, done

Why would you want to do this? Let me know after the season though. Ill take a look at the roster.

A mere 4 years ago I would have agreed, adamantly.

I have it, I enjoy it, and i find it helpful. But there are a few nights of the week I am not dialed in due to work/family. For that reason, FAAB is good. Watching games is still more beneficial than reading box scores.

ETA: With all of that said, I was you ten years ago (shite, I'm old). I was first to the wire and nearly always got the hot pickup. The old DAT'ers can confirm

I rather the larger rosters. you should be able to stash a long term prospect or two without ever needing those guys to play to reach the game limit.
