I could drop all but my top 10 OR so guys and scrounge up a playoff roster over the course of the season just off WW. playoffs is hard to miss when you have my hoops acumen. Maybe one year outta every 20 I'll miss the playoffs.

Hoops is just a hobby. I'd like to learn more about the CBA but it bores me.

Boom, you got any connects in the Astros org?

I'm getting ready to send a resume & cover letter, but the resumes of the people applying to these $25k/year baseball ops jobs are astoundingly impressive.

I don't know anyone but have heard many stories about people with graduate degrees grinding it out for 30k for a pro sports team.

Astros org at least is chock-full of guys that could be clearing $250k+ on Wall St making sub $50k working in baseball. Tired of the corp world; ready for a pay cut and more enjoyable work.

The jobs I was looking at were all currently occupied by m7 business grads and Ivy League math majors. I have a good resume, but it isn't that.

The DAT team you built gives you a leg up, no?

The injury predictor portion of my DAT spreadsheet needed to be recalibrated.

For a dream job, sure. There's less than a 5% chance I'd even get an interview, so I'm not overly worried about it.

I'm not spamming industry firms with applications.
