Take away the 1st game and run it again. He did much better after that.

I see three teams who have separated themselves.
Then I'll fill in my playoff picks with the next four in one tier.
Then have a couple other tiers after that.
gonna be a nice write up. Maybe have it done by 9:30-10:00

43% from field
29% from 3
Not sure how that translates to NBA comp.
Rubio has still been able to pull a top 50 kinda guy w/ sub 40% FG, but oddly enough his good FT% pulls him up a bit.

That's gotta hit the power rankings hard
Posted on 7/18/17 at 8:29 pm to Gtothemoney
Ok, here we go. These are power rankings as of today. We aren't even done with FA yet so this is gonna change before the season starts and even more once the season starts. I really liked the Toula power rankings where he highlighted additions and subtractions to each team, hopefully he can do that again. These will take the changes into account, but not list them out.
2017-18 POWER RANKINGS
THE CONTENDERS
Clutch City -- The team that entered last season #1 in the power rankings enters this season with maybe their strongest squad yet thanks to the acquisition of Harden. A historically strong rebounding and FG% squad is likely to make his assists and steals top 2-3 in the league as well with improved guard play. Teodosic can be the real difference maker here.
Strenghts: Ownership/management
Weaknesses: FT%
Juju on Embiid - Always strong Thom enters the season loaded and ready to make a run at a title. KD, Wall, Butler, Cousins. Wow the top end talent is as good as it gets. I see some good players on the bench too, this team is ready to roll entering the season.
Strengths: Top End Talent
Weaknesses: Assists and 3s.
Toula -- T comes into the season strong again lead by Westbrook and the monsters Gobert and Whiteside. Key player: Rod Hood
Strengths: Rebounding and Blocks
Weaknesses: Assists and Depth
Next we fill will out the next tier with our remaining 4 playoff squads. These teams could get into contender status with some trade fleeces
ROUNDING OUT THE PLAYOFFS
Sandy -- The reigning Champ comes in with a well balanced team. Miles Turner should take another step in INdy in a more featured role here, and Porzingis will reap the rewards of the departure to Melo. HOliday assist #s will take a hit leaving him weak here
Strengths: Strong Core/Balance
Weaknesses: Assists/Rebounding/Depth could be an issue
Jumpy -- Jumpy enters with a strong team for now, we know this will change as he is the most trading owner in the league. Pretty good depth here if things workout with Parsons, Gay, and Evans this team will be a force.
Strengths: Upside/Potential Depth
Weaknesses: Injury concerns/Lack of top end talent
Cwill -- With a strong up and coming core, Will should find himself in the playoffs for the first time after electing to go with the slow build in the inagural draft. This is a team that should be in the mix for years to come, lead by KAT and Jokic.
Strengths: Young studs
Weaknesses: Still maybe a year away. The bench looks lite imo but it could be a strength a lot will depend on the productivity of Brown and Hernangomez.
Matty V -- MAtt always has put a strong squad out there but the team as is today is not built to contend. Very weak in 3 cats and very very strong in 5. He'a gonna have to flip some guards for bigs. Winning 5-3 every week will get you in the playoffs, but not the home court advantage. Very likely that one of the top end teams will be able to get to 4-4.
Strengths: Guards
Weaknesses: Bigs
Next we look at teams that could be in contention for the playoffs, or could blow it up and go for the rebuild. As the season plays out this will become more evident.
OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
G$ -- An aging squad at the end of last year, G boy made some moves that were necessary but will probably hurt him a little in the short term. After Lebron and Goran you gotta scan the rankings a good bit to find the next player from this squad.
Strengths: 3s
Weaknesses: Other guard driven stats.. Steals and Assists are subpar.
knat -- 2 years ago knat has the best squad the league has seen, but it went South on him in a hurry at the tail end of last season. Age is the major concern, but big seasons outta Rubio and Rondo would put this team safely back into the playoffs.
Strength: 3s / Steph / IT
Weaknesses : FG% and the other big man cats/potentail age related production declines
Louie -- Lous team has showed some promise for a couple years not but has been unable to get over the hump. With the emergence of greek freak and Lou can make a good run at the playoffs. Question mark / key player is BLake. He has had so many injuries his durability is a major concern and he may be losing athleticism:
Strengths: Got some good top end kinda guys
Weaknesses: Bench and role player kinda guys likely not good enough for a playoff run.
Frat -- Frat has a tons of prospects, guys that could work out really well for him, just hard to see it all coming together this year. He'd be wise to flip Favors who stands out as the one player who doesn't fit his window. If Embiid stays healthy and puts up big minutes this won't be a lottery team and could contend for the 7th spot, but we reckon PHilly will continue to play it somewhat safe with Jojo.
Strenghts: Embiid/Kawhi are studs
Weaknesses: Reliance on players who are unproven
OK to finish this up I'm gonna take a look at the 3 teams who we are projecting will have their balls in the lottery hopper heading into next years draft.
LOTTERY BOUND
MWG -- Similar to Cwill in that he has a good young upcoming core. This is a team that coulda been higher and in more serious playoff contention but him trading teodosic for a rd 1 pick tells me he is being patient with his build. Great promising bigs, still lacking at the guard positions.
Strengths: Young studs Simmons/Davis/Hernangomez??
Weaknesses: Guard play
Papps -- Papp has been down here at the bottom since the inception of the league, let's take a look at his squads outlook for next season. Scans for ten seconds. This is a team that's still a ways away. I'd look for him to trade some of his established players for prospects and have a good chance to land the #1 pick next season. Loaded with young unporven talent, if it comes together this squad could emerge in the next 2-3 years if a few of these guys hit.
Strenghts: Youth
Weaknesses: Not built to win today
Porty -- Porty is taking his time with a patient rebuild. Armed with a shitload of young talent, I think his window to contend opens in 2 years. With young players comes the risk that they don't develop but this team looks promising on paper. Needs to add some bigs but has all the time in the world.
Strengths: BBB and plenty youth
Weaknesses: Not looking to win this year.

After verified twitter accounts say Lawson to china Lawson tweets from his personal account that he has not signed in China.
Nice scheme by Matt and others, you guys got me. We gonna hold taj for the first month and see if he can't settle into his 26 mpg role he had last under thibs. Could be a nice one or two start a week bottom of the roster kinda player.

saw a pretty clear line after the top 3. Any of the playoff teams can reach contender status fairly easily. Injuries weren't even mentioned much and always play a montser role.

And why are you considered top 3 again?
