you don't want to make any last minute trades do you? I've left you alone to manage your team but if you want my help just ask.

Who's going to start the week 1 thread? ESPN gives projections that set a line for each matchup (assuming everyone's rosters are set of course). I was a 26 point favorite over TROLA as of yesterday

I'm only 10 over Petar......but that scoring looks suspect. I must have missed something....how in the hell is Steve Smith Carolina supposed to have 27 points while Rodgers only 23?

yeah I dunno - I mean it's obviously only a projection so hard to put too much weight into it. With that said, the projections were made by someone who has spent much more time looking at what might happen than I have, so I won't totally disregard them.

I don't understand this logic though - it projects my kicker to only have 3 points, and there are about 5 FA kickers available who are projected to score 9 points. The reasoning they are using is that my kicker plays for a team (Den) who they think will have a strong offense against a weaker defense (so my kicker will be kicking PATs, not FGs), but give higher projections to kickers on weak offenses (with the thinking that they will be kicking more FGs, not PATs).

But I always heard to take kickers on good offenses. Am I wrong?

yeah who doesn't

IMO throw Murphy or Jones into your WR2 and Stewart into the flex.

or you could put Stewart as your RB2, and both Murphy Jones (wr and flex) and bench Forsett(SF DEF pretty good, and it's a time share, but he could get 6-7 catches playing from behind)

Your a tad behind, but not out.

I haven't had much time to keep up with this over the past week, but I just updated my lineup. Hoping for the best...

I'm a pretty heavy underdog this weekend. I'm just going to take my licks and learn for when we run this thing again next year.

I need Peterson to break his leg, the Vikings to get about 700 yards of offense (all passing) with no more scores, Colston to catch two TDs and Heartley to stop missing f'ing field goals.

How's that for a wish list?

Considering Gumbo had both Brees and Robert Meacham last night, I'd say my night went about as well as it could go.

Saints won...and his people sucked.
