yeah he may be nothing special but he has a live arm

What you should do is keep him on your bench and see how he does. Then, if he does well, wait until they play a bad team and give him a shot at starting assuming it doesn't jeopardize your pitching numbers for the week.

Don't be too hard on Ron. He didn't start watching baseball until recently Port said; hard to know the nuances of the game.

I wasn't being hard on him big Lou

Thanks for the advice big port.
I think he is just getting a spot start due to the double header doe.

barry has 37.1 innings pitched and only 1 ER.
ETA: They are giving Niese credit for 15.1 innings and he has only pitched once this week.

Is the minimum innings required for the ASB period still 25?

Mets game went 18 yesterday. Must have been a hell of an outing from Niese.

Hi rondo
Why would the requirement be 25 IP in a 10 day week?
To answer your specific question, I know about as much as you do.

so....are you the commish?
Posted on 7/20/15 at 1:01 pm to GynoSandberg
You want to make a ruling?
Posted on 7/20/15 at 1:50 pm to rondo
I think we made it 35 IP in prior years.
Posted on 7/20/15 at 2:59 pm to rondo
I would say the IP limit can stay the same?
I'm not irt so I don't know what it's set at for this week. Am I understanding right that you want it to be 25 IP in a 10 day scoring period? Wouldn't it be more innings if anything

I am assuming more games would be a higher Minimum Innings limit.
I have already surpassed 35 IP
I just know as a commish of other leagues, that it's easier to handle rules discussions before rather than after the fact.

I'll defer to you on this decision

Ok...as non commish I decree we revert to past seasons and make it 35 IP limit for the ASB week
